Per Aspera Ad Astra
by Kamila Moravcikova

Are you an university or college student? Are you in your first or second year? Staring at everything with eyes wide open wondering when will all the things around you start making any sense? Hoping to pass an exam? Trembling with fear when the crabby professor comes in and looks into your eyes with a gaze clearly saying "I know you suck. You are nothing. I'm the boss. I' the god." It can be very disappointing. Once you are a student, you have to get accustomed to such an approach and unfairness. Maybe you'd studied hard and though you did not succeed. However, much more important lesson you have to learn is out there. I mean the "real life". Don't expect that when you graduate there will be your life-time opportunity waiting just for you with a banner saying "We'd love to have you here with us, everything's gonna be smooth and easy.". All you will find is just the gap between reality and theory. First problem is getting a job you desire. Never-ending writing tests, assessment tests, intelligence test, etc. and then the second round & face to face interviews. Tell us something about your weaknesses and strengths. Why should we choose you? Then you finally get a job (not so desirable). Job including crabby boss who comes in and looks into your eyes with a gaze clearly saying "I know you suck. You are nothing. I'm the boss. I'm the god."
